Some changes come when you least expect them and some are anticipated for a long time. Either way, sometimes they are exactly what you need. The past few years have been a little crazy and I definitely think we could use a little bit of change around here. It's nice to have a change of scenery, a different outlook on life, maybe an entirely new perspective. So, although I am a bit overwhelmed and nostalgic, I definitely think that it's the best thing for us right now........ We're moving!!! We are picking up the keys today and slowly moving over the next few weeks. We will still be in the same town, just on the other side. We are going to be in the best school district, and a 30 second walk from my sister-in-law. Lucky me...she just happens to be one of my best friends. :) We are moving to a more urban setting, which means we can walk and bike most places. There are a ton of reasons why this move makes sense for our family. I am a bit sad that we are leaving this house behind. We moved here when I was about 3 weeks pregnant with Emma. Needless to say, we have been through a ton. We have experienced birth, death, joy, and sadness time and again. We have hosted holiday parties, barbecues, baby showers, 80th birthday parties and so much more. We have watched our babies turn into kids. We have struggled and overcome. We have grown and changed in more ways than I count. This house holds a lot of memories and I am grateful for all that I have experienced here. I have been feeling stagnant for awhile now, anxious to see what this great big world has to offer. It's hard balancing my current family life with that free spirit inside of me that wants to travel and live out of my suitcase. :) For now, this move is what's best and hopefully one day that free spirit will emerge a little more and we can take bigger chances and see what else it out there. I think that Scott and I need to find jobs that allow us to move all over the world. ( Maybe Mexico like you, Danielle??) :) In the meantime, this little leap of faith is perfect and just the right amount of change. I will be pretty busy over the next few weeks, but hope to be back and blog-hopping by the end of July. :)

Kristina, I'm so happy for you!! While I know this will be quite a sentimental time, it's also very exciting!...I think you and I are alike in a few ways, esp after reading this post. Take care, and definitely let me know your new address!!
:)

Good luck with the move!
We just moved a few months ago - only a 1 minute drive away - but it was such a big change. From a rental to owning. We love it. I'm sure you find the change refreshing!
